The $30 registration fee helps to cover the production costs of the event and the gifts each registrant receives for participating, including an EIF REVLON Run/Walk For Women t-shirt and gift bag. The registration fee increases to $35 on April 26th.
Do I have to raise pledges?
Pledge money is how we raise funds for the fight against women's cancers. We ask each participant to set a fundraising goal to work towards $250, $500, $1000 or more. Fundraising awards will be distributed to each participant at various pledge levels, beginning at $250. Check out the raise funds section for more information about building your own fundraising page and fundraising awards.
Where does the pledge money go?
Your hard-earned pledges will support women's cancers research, help provide diagnostic treatment services for medically under-served women, and deliver emotional support services and financial support to women with cancer and their families. Click here for more information on the 2008 Beneficiaries.
Where do I turn in pledge money?
Pledges may be mailed before and after the event, or turned in the day of the event at the designated drop-off areas. Please be sure that your name and runner (bib) number are included for tracking purposes. Make sure to keep a copy of the pledge form for your records. Pledges must be postmarked no later than June 1st to be eligible for fundraising awards.
If mailed, send to:

How do we celebrate cancer survivors at the event?
In proud support of the many survivors who will be joining us, we invite all survivors to pick up a special hat from the EIF Survivors Tent in Times Square and the East Meadow on event day. All survivors are also welcome to come together for a special commemorative survivor photo during our closing ceremonies in the East Meadow of Central Park.
What are tribute signs and where can I get them?
Tribute signs are worn in memory or support of loved ones and can be picked up at various locations on the day of the event. We invite survivors to wear their very own tribute sign proclaiming their number of years as a survivor. All are available in the Downloads section of the website to print out prior to event day.
Is there a place for me to check my bags?
Yes. There is a baggage check-in at Times Square that is open until 8:15 am. You can then retrieve your bags at the designated baggage pick-up area in the East Meadow (a baggage claim ticket will be attached to your bib for use).
Where do I get my T-shirt and gift bag?
Beginning at 7:00am on event day, participant Gift Bags will be available in Times Square, on 7th Ave between 47th and 48th St, prior to the start of the Run/Walk. You must have your T-Shirt tab from your Bib with you to retrieve your bag. Times Square Gift bag distribution will close at 8:30am on May 3rd.
Will there be refreshments?
Yes. Complimentary food and beverages will be available to all participants upon completion of the event. Water will be provided throughout the event.
How do you track each participant?
Each participant, whether running or walking, will receive a runner ID number, also referred to as a bib number, to wear on the day of the event. This number helps identify each participant for recording finish times and fundraising totals. Bib numbers will be mailed to all registered participants within 2 weeks of receipt of registration, starting mid-February.
What if it rains on May 3rd?
The EIF REVLON Run/Walk For Women will take place rain or shine.
Can I bring young children to the Run/Walk? Do they have to pay the registration fee?
Yes. Young children are welcome. To receive an event T-shirt and refreshments, the entry fee must be paid.
Can I bring a stroller?
Yes. You can bring a stroller. However, in an effort to keep all participants safe, it is essential that all strollers line up in the back of the crowd for the start of the race.
Can I bring a bike? Roller blades? Scooter? Pets?
No. For your safety and the safety of all participants, bikes, scooters and roller blades are not permitted at the event. You may bring pets, as long as they are on a leash. We ask that you use good judgment, and consider the safety of participants and spectators when deciding whether or not to bring your pet.
