We are on pace to surpass all fundraising records, but we have to keep at it to beat the nearly $2.7 million distributed last year. This year’s goal is $3 million, but we’ve got to push hard. Get your friends to register. Get your family to donate. Get your co-workers to join your team. The more money collected means more monies distributed to beneficiaries dedicated to medical research, treatment and support services for the brave women and their families fighting cancer. The World of Disney Store, located at 711 5th Ave (at 55th St.) is offering in-store registration for the EIF Revlon Run/Walk For Women at their Guest Services Desk. The cost of registration is now $35.

Online registration ends on Thursday, May 1st.

Important Notice Regarding Gift Bags/ T-shirts

Beginning at 7:00am on event day, participant Gift Bags/T-shirts will be available in Times Square, on 7^th Ave between 47^th and 48^th St, prior to the start of the Run/Walk.  Please remember to bring your Bib and/or T-Shirt tab from your Bib with you to retrieve your bag/t-shirt. The gift bags are lightweight and are packaged in nylon, drawstring backpacks so they will be very easy to carry for the duration of the 5K.  

Please be sure to arrive early to give yourself adequate time to retrieve your bag and enjoy the festivities. Times Square Gift Bag Distribution will close at 8:30am on May 3rd.  Additionally, we do ask all participants to please wear your 11^th Annual EIF Revlon Run/Walk For Women t-shirts during the event to further illustrate our unity in the fight against women’s cancers!

In 2007, more than 40,000 men, women and children walked in unity from Times Square to Central Park in support of this important cause. Nearly $2.7 million were distributed to the 16 beneficiaries of the EIF REVLON Run/Walk For Women last year, bringing us closer to our goal of finding a cure and leading to more efficient methods of cancer treatment. Your participation and contributions lead to cutting-edge medical breakthroughs and diagnostic treatment services for suffering women. These breakthroughs do not help only those women with cancer, but also the friends, families and loved ones whose lives have been affected by the many forms of this disease. The support of the masses brings hope to the suffering and celebrates the lives of so many brave women who lost their battles.

If you can’t participate on May 3rd, you can still join us in the fight against women’s cancers by making a donation and creating awareness in your community. It is only through the amazing generosity of all of our participants and donors that these incredible strides in the pursuit of a cure are possible. Like you, we believe that just one day in May brings us closer to achieving our goal, a cure for cancer.
